How to choose from the many cosmetic products?
Nowadays, the range of cosmetic products that we can buy in drugstores, on the Internet or in retail chains is endless. Usually, there are significant differences in price and composition between them. More expensive is not always better, in our experience. Professional products have several advantages: products developed for cosmetologists usually contain much higher concentrations of valuable active ingredients than many of their counterparts available on the market.
What can a beautician help with?
It is also not good to apply everything that comes to mind. Just like fingerprints, our skin is unique. Although we can categorize it based on certain characteristics (e.g., pore size, skin color, degree of dilation of small blood vessels), it is still worth entrusting a professional to determine exactly what kind of care each skin type requires. Cosmetologists working in cosmetics and beauty salons are trained to know exactly what kind of care each skin type requires. This care can be achieved not only in salon conditions, with professional machines, creams, technologies, and cosmetic techniques, as home care is also a very important complement to salon treatments. We usually meet with a beautician once or twice a month, and the more determined once a week. At home, however, we take care of our skin at least in the morning and evening. It does not matter what materials we use to cleanse and care for our face (e.g., we may overdry it or use a cream that is too greasy). It's also not a good idea to not think about your neck and décolleté: after a while, the care of these areas will be noticeably different. With the right home routine, we can achieve much more effective and long-term results.
What is your daily routine?
Our experience is that very few people have a daily facial care routine. This means that a system must be developed in everyday facial care. After thorough but gentle cleansing, it is forbidden to press or scratch our skin at home, because we will only cause more serious damage. We care for it with the day and night cream recommended by our beautician. Some professional products are compatible with each other, meaning they build on each other and have a mutually reinforcing effect. The risk of irritation or allergic reactions is also much lower, as our specialists know exactly the individual ingredients of the products and their effect on the skin.
